Detectives Investigate Theft at F.C. Burlington Coat Factory

Detectives from the Mason District of the Fairfax County Police Department are investigating a larceny that occurred on Thursday, March 24 at around 8:39 p.m. at the Burlington Coat Factory in Falls Church’s Seven Corners.

According to police, a patron of the store placed her purse in her shopping cart and was distracted momentarily. Two other women were also in the store and had apparently been following the patron.

One of the women distracted her while the other allegedly took the victim’s wallet and cell phone from her purse. The two suspects then quickly left the store. The suspects were described as white and approximately 18 – 27 years old.

The suspect pictured on the left was described as 5 feet 7 inches – 5 feet 9 inches tall, long brown hair, approximately 155 to 175 pounds. She was wearing a light colored shirt and blue jeans.  The second suspect pictured on the right was described as 5 feet 7 inches – 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 125 – 145 pounds with brown hair. She was wearing a gray shirt with dark pants.
