F.C. Civil War Day Slated for May 21 at Cherry Hill Farmhouse

The City of Falls Church’s annual Civil War Day, a living history event depicting Falls Church during the Civil War, is slated for Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Cherry Hill Park and Farmhouse at 312 Park Avenue.

There will be spy stories, letter readings, period music, soldier drilling exercises, free bus tour, children’s tent and much more at the free, family-friendly event. This event is sponsored by the Recreation and Parks Department, the Victorian Society at Falls Church, the Falls Church Historical Commission, the Village Preservation and Improvement Society and the Friends of Cherry Hill.
