Rosenberg, Winner of Checknoff Award, Dies

Falls Church resident Jack Rosenberg died on Friday, April 22 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was a much loved member of the Winter Hill Senior Center Community, known for his warmth, humor, ability to fix (almost) anything and enthusiastic bingo calling.

Jack, with his wife Anita, was the 2001 winner of the Ruth Checknoff Award for outstanding service to senior citizens in the Falls Church area.
