Gallery Underground Features National Juried Competition

Gallery Underground will feature a national juried competition “Road Trip” during May. The theme of this all-media show, featured in the Focus Gallery, personalizes many aspects of taking a road trip: scenes from the road, people met along the way, all modes of transportation and journeys both undertaken or imagined.

The show will be on display from Monday, May 2  – Saturday, May 28 and will have an opening reception on Friday, May 6 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the gallery, located at 2100 Crystal Dr., Arlington.

Glass artist Steena Fullmer Anderson will also have her work featured in the gallery’s Main Gallery in May. Using a fused glass technique, Fullmer Anderson works under the name Buddha Kitty Glass and states her long and passionate relationship with all types of glass art.
