Culmore Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

Daniel Rodrigo Cespedes, 21, of Falls Church, was arrested and charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony on Saturday, April 16, the Fairfax County Police Department announced in a press release on Wednesday, April 20.

The crime was originally reported on Friday, April 1. According to the police, the victim of the crime was dropping off a friend at the 6000 block of Bellview Drive and was approached by a man on foot. Allegedly, Cespedes brandished a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The victim relinquished cash and property then drove off in his vehicle. The victim did not required medical attention.
