Local Sorority Hosts 2nd Annual AKA 1908 Playground Project

The Chi Beta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is hosting the 2nd Annual 1908 AKA Playground Project at Big Chimney Park at 212 W. Annandale Road on Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Chi Beta Omega Chapter and other volunteers will restore the park sign posts, refresh the paint on park benches and picnic tables and renew the aesthetics of the park. The event will also include cleaning playground equipment and applying leaf mulch. For more information or to register for the event, visit chibetaomega-aka.com.
