Capital One Bank in Idylwood Plaza Robbed

The Capital One Bank, located in Idylwood Plaza at 7501 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, was robbed at around 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, according to a press release from the Fairfax County Police Department.

According to police, a man entered the bank, approached one of the tellers and passed a note demanding money. An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and the suspect fled. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as a black male, 30 – 40 years old, 6 feet – 6 feet 2 inches tall, stocky build and was wearing a light blue shirt and a dark colored baseball hat.
