Mt. Daniel Students Visit the National Zoo

Kindergarten students from Mt. Daniel Elementary School have been visiting the National Zoo recently, three classes at a time, according to the Falls Church City Public Schools’ Morning Announcements. Students had personal encounters during their visit, coming face to face (with the protection of glass enclosures) with orangutans and sea lions.

Other favorite exhibits were the panda and gorillas. Ahead of the trip, the students studied living things, what they need to survive and how they depend on each other.
