Crime Report: 3 Assaults in F.C. & Man Arrested for Intent to Distribute Cocaine

There were three reports of assaults in the City of Falls Church crime report this week. One incident occurred at the Exxon on W. Broad Street when it was reported a customer assaulted an employee, another when a victim reported an assaults by an acquaintance and the final was a case of a 25-year old male arrested for aggravated assault in the 100 block of Birch St.

In other reported crime, after a report of a accident on West Broad Street, a 29-year old City of Falls Church man was arrested for heroin possession, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and driving under the influence.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: April 4 – 10, 2016

Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. On Apr. 4, a male, 22, of Capitol Heights, MD, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 905 W. Broad St. (Hole in the Wall Books) On Apr. 4, cash was stolen from the business.

Assault, 400 block W. Broad St. (Exxon) On Apr. 4, police received a report of a customer assaulting an employee.

Commercial Burglary, 809 W. Broad St. Suite A (Botanicle Grocerie) On Apr. 5, police received a report of a burglary that took place overnight.

Commercial Burglary, 212 N. West St. (Shreve McGonegal) On Apr. 5, an unknown suspect forced entry and stole merchandise.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 100 block S. Spring St. On Apr. 5, police received a report of smashed car window.

Assault, 500 block W. Broad St. On Apr. 5, police received a report of an assault committed by an acquaintance of the victim.

Public Drunkenness, 1000 block W. Broad St. On Apr. 6, a male, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Apr. 6, unknown suspect(s) broke a lock and stole contents from a patron’s locker.

Driving Under the Influence and False ID to Law Enforcement, 100 block W. Broad St. On Apr. 6, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 31, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Providing False ID to Law Enforcement.

Aggravated Assault, 100 block Birch St. On Apr. 8, a male, 25, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Aggravated Assault.

Narcotics Violation, Possession with Intent to Distribute, Driving Under the Influence, 1100 block W. Broad St. On Apr. 8, officers responded to the area for a report of an accident. One of the drivers, a male, 29, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine, and Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Vehicle, 300 block Douglas Ave. On Apr. 8, police received a report of a stolen license plate.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block W. Marshall St. On Apr. 9, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 35, of Haymarket, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
