One More Page Books Announces April Schedule of Events

One More Page Books, located at 2200 N. Westmoreland St. #101, Arlington, recently announced its April slate of events, which includes author talks, a celebration of Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday and a celebration of International Bookstore Day.

Award-winning novelist Matthew Quirk will read from his new military thriller Cold Barrel Zero on Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m. On Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m. the bookstore will celebrate Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday with a chocolate tasting and a discussion with award-winning author Laura Elliott followed by a signing of her new historical young adult novel Da Vinci’s Tiger.

On Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m. Jon McGoran will read from his international thriller Dust Up, the third in his Doyle Carrick series. Then on Friday, April 29 at 7 p.m. New York Botanical Gardens instructor and author Marta McDowell will read from All the Presidents’ Gardens: Madison’s Cabbages to Kennedy’s Roses, How the White House Grounds Have Grown with America.
