On March 17, Matt Khan was elected as the new Chair of the Falls Church City Republican Committee. Khan is a long-time resident of Falls Church City who is the principal owner of Falls Realty. He is also a director of the Virginia Association of Realtors. He served several years between 1995 and 2013 as a member and chair of the Falls Church City Board of Equalization. Khan is a former U.S. Air Force jet pilot. He is married and has long experience as a mortgage loan officer with different financial institutions.

Khan succeeds Ken Feltman, who retired after four years as chair of the Falls Church City Republican Committee.
