James Madison U. Students Volunteer for Spring Break

Students from Falls Church chose to use their spring break from college to volunteer at one of 25 different sites across the country. The students spent the week serving others while living simply and submerging themselves in the culture of their surroundings.

Shanna Bishop, a junior integrated science and technology major, traveled to Moab, Utah to volunteer with Arches National Park. Ana Maria Stella, a sophomore international affairs major, traveled to San Juan, Texas to volunteer with LUPE.

Darby Quave, a sophomore psychology major, traveled to Bristol, Fla. to volunteer with Nature’s Conservancy. For more information, visit jmu.edu/abp.
