There’s no time for the kitchen when eggs need to be found and baskets need to be explored. Giving residents more time to celebrate Easter, these four Falls Church-area restaurants are serving holiday specials this Sunday, ranging from a la carte and prix-fixe menus to a full-on, all-you-can-eat buffet.

Executive chef Bertrand Chemel and pastry chef Caitlin Dysart, the dynamic duo at Falls Church’s 2941 Restaurant, have put together a special three-course prix fixe menu for Easter this Sunday.
Appetizers include a variety of dishes like yellowfin tuna tartare with Grand-Marnier aioli, a Maine lobster salad, pan-seared scallops with potato gnocchi, peas and a truffled cream sauce and a trio of “Angel Eggs” featuring pastrami-cured salmon, poached little shrimp, fingerling potato mille-feuille and bacon.
For the main course, there are ricotta ravioli, halibut, a surf-and-turf dish with lobster and chicken, filet mignon, rack of lamb and a vegetarian-friendly mix with spice baby carrot, creamy spinach, asparagus, fiddlehead ferns and quail egg.
Dysart finishes off the meal, offering up a selection of desserts including a “Chocolate Easter Nest” with chocolate fudge cake, coconut macaroon, toasted almond gelato and chocolate eggs, carrot cake with pineapple sorbet, chocolate pot de creme and a strawberries and cream cake.
Priced at $75 per person, there are two seatings are available for 2941’s Easter menu: brunch from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 4 – 8 p.m.

La Cote d’Or, the French restaurant just over The Little City border in Arlington, has a special menu for Easter brunch, available a la carte or as a three-course prix fixe for $42 or $21 for children 10 and under.
Items on Sunday’s menu include dishes like lobster bisque, baby shrimp and avocado salad, eggs benedict with jumbo lump crab and smoked salmon, monkfish, bronzino filet and leg of lamb.
For Easter dinner, a roasted leg of lamb is available a la carte for $22.95 or as part of a three-course menu for $32.95.

In addition to its regular a la carte brunch menu, Dogwood Tavern will be featuring two special dishes for Easter this Sunday.
A lobster cake benedict includes pan-seared lobster cakes, bacon and avocado and is served with a Tabasco hollandaise and breakfast potatoes for $13. Bananas Foster French toast, for $11, has caramelized bananas, toasted walnuts and maple rum caramel sauce over brioche French toast and is served with vanilla ice cream.
Mad Fox Brewing Co.

For the all-you-can-eat crowd, Mad Fox Brewing Company will be serving an Easter brunch buffet from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday.
The holiday spread includes more than 30 options ranging from pastries, fruit, bagels and parfait to eggs, beer-braised carnitas, pork belly benedict, assorted pizzas, mini quiches, bacon, house-ground sausage and more. There will also be a carving station with roasted turkey.
In addition to the buffet, Mad Fox will offer a la carte brunch menu featuring items from its regular menu plus special dishes like deviled eggs, lemon beignets and a smoked salmon pizza.
