Peeps Diorama Contest Comes Back to F.C. Library

Mary Riley Styles Public Library’s annual Peeps Story contest is being held on Saturday, April 2 at the library at 120 N. Virginia Avenue, with the dioramas on display from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., judging of the dioramas taking place at 10:45 a.m. and awards given out at 11 a.m.

There will be two opportunities for children in grades 1 – 12 to create Peeps dioramas for the contest, or just for fun, at the library. The first session is the library’s Early Release Wednesday from 3 – 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30 for children in grades 1 – 5. Participation in this session is limited to 15 children and advance registration is required.

The other opportunity is Teen Time on Thursday, March 31 from 7 – 8 p.m. for children in grades 6 – 12 and registration is required for that session as well. Submissions to the Peeps Story contest can be created outside of the library, as well.

Drop off of dioramas is on Thursday, March 31 from 5 – 9 p.m. and Friday, April 1 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information, visit fallschurchva.gov/Library or call 703-248-5034.
