Schrock of Shepherd’s Center Speaks to F.C. Rotary Club

Ed Schrock of the Shepherd’s Center of McLean-Arlington-Falls Church will speak at the Falls Church Rotary Club’s weekly dinner meeting at Harvest Moon Restaurant, located at 7260 Arlington Blvd., Falls Church, on Thursday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Schrock will speak about the Shepherd’s Center, an organization that serves older people in the region by assisting them in maintaining an independent and safe lifestyle. The first Shepherd’s Center was created in 1972 in Kansas City, Mo., and was among the early voices in America to advocate a new model of aging.

Today there are over 59 centers in 16 states affiliated with the Shepherd’s Centers of America – a network of interfaith community based organizations that provide meaning and purpose for senior adults. For more information, visit fallschurchrotary.org.
