McLean Rotary Club Donates to Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center

The Rotary Club of McLean presented a check in the amount of $2,000 to Kathy Banks, executive director of the Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center, at its weekly meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 23. The Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center was founded in 1968 with initial support was provided by the Rotary Club of McLean.

When the children’s center opened, there were 15 children enrolled. That number has now grown to 78.

In a press release about the donation, the Rotary Club of McLean said that it “is pleased to help provide support to the Center’s mission of providing high-quality early childhood education to low-income, working families in Falls Church and the McLean area of Fairfax County.” For more information, visit mcleanrotary.org.
