Shepherd’s Center Initiates 2 New Programs for Seniors

The Shepherd’s Center of McLean-Arlington-Falls Church is seeking volunteers for two new programs they started to benefit senior adults living in the region who find it difficult to leave their homes.

The Friendly Visitor program will match volunteers to seniors who would like a visit periodically and The Friendly Caller program will allow seniors to receive a call from a volunteer to let them know they have not been forgotten and to remind them to call the Shepherd’s Center if they need help.

Both programs allow for flexibility for both volunteers and senior adults. For more information or to volunteer, call 703-506-2199 or email info@scmafc.org.
