The annual City of Falls Church real estate assessments will be mailed out on Friday, Feb. 19, the City’s public information office announced today. In the meantime, the City’s online searchable data base will be offline from noon tomorrow, Feb. 12, to the afternoon of Feb. 19. A news release with general information about the assessments is expected to be released by next Tuesday, Feb. 16. The City Council will use the assessments in its decisions on the real estate tax rate for the coming fiscal year that will be made final in late April.
