After months of practice, the chorus and band programs at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School recently performed to a packed house. The chorus sang a selection including an arrangement of rounds by their teacher Ms. Harbison, as well as “The Cat Came Back” and “Ease on Down the Road.”
The band featured different sections on some pieces and then came together to perform three more including “Ode to Joy” and “Hard Rock Blues.” The TJ chorus will perform several times this spring, including at the school system’s STEAM night on February 25 and the band will perform at a spring concert in June.
