The Arlington Players to Perform ‘Deathtrap’

The Arlington Players are gearing up to perform “Deathtrap,” the longest running comedy-thriller to ever show on Broadway, at the Thomas Jefferson Community Theatre, located at 125 S. Old Glebe Road, Arlington. “Deathtrap” opens on Friday, Jan. 29 and runs through Saturday, Feb. 13.

There will be a meet and greet with the cast of the show after the Sunday, Jan. 31 matinee show. According to a press release from The Arlington Players, the show is “an exquisite blend of mystery, plot reversals and humor.” With its Tony Award nomination for Best Play, Deathtrap will surprise you and hold you in its spell to the final moment. Ira Levin, author of both Rosemary’s Baby and The Stepford Wives, wrote this classic.

The production will be run on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 8:30 p.m. Tickets for the show are $21.50 for adults and $15.50 for children 18 an under and seniors 60 and over. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or online. For more information, visit thearlingtonplayers.org.
