City of Falls Church Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Thursday, January 21, after the city was hit with about an inch of school Wednesday evening. All City schools – Mt. Daniel, Thomas Jefferson, Mary Ellen Henderson and George Mason High School – will open two hours late with bus routes operating two hours late as well. Falls Church City Schools Day Care will operate on a normal schedule.
Thursday’s delay comes in advance of a possibly record-breaking snow storm expected to this the Washington, D.C. area Friday afternoon.
