George Mason High School has organized a meeting for parent’s of children at the school to help the parents guide their children through some of the challenges of adolescence on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.
At the meeting parents can find out what parents and the community can do to strengthen mental health, decrease substance abuse and help students excel in “mind, body and character,” according to the school system’s “Morning Announcements.”
Mason Principal Ty Byrd, school counselor Mica Thomasson and school psychologist Sharon Hoffman will discuss different aspects of the health and wellness of Mason students at the meeting.
