Recently elected members of the Fairfax County School Board Elizabeth Schultz, Jeanette Hough, Dalia Palchik and Thomas Wilson took the oath of office on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Luther Jackson Middle School. Schultz was reelected. The new School Board members will assume their official duties on January 1, 2016.

School Board members include: Megan McLaughlin (Braddock District), Jane Strauss (Dranesville District), Pat Hynes (Hunter Mill District), Tamara Derenak Kaufax (Lee District), Sandy Evans (Mason District), Karen Corbett Sanders (Mount Vernon District), Palchik (Providence District), Schultz (Springfield District), Wilson (Sully District), Hough (at large), Ryan McElveen (at large) and Ilryong Moon (at large).
