Crime Report: Another Car Stolen in City of Falls Church

Cars continue to be under siege in the City of Falls Church with three more incidents of vehicle theft last week. In the latest crime report, a vehicle was stolen from Gibson St. on Saturday and vehicles on S. Washington St . and W. Annandale Rd. were broken into and robbed on Wednesday.

In other crime, the Hillwood Mart was held up by two men on Thanksgiving afternoon, a 20-year old City man was arrested for marijuana possession, a backpack was stolen from Taco Bell and three people were cited for smoking at Eden Center.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: November 23 – 29, 2015

Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On Nov. 23, a bag was reported stolen.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block N. On Nov. 25, a male, 26, of Fairfax, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, 100 block S. Washington St. On Nov. 25, a backpack was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Nov. 25, an unattended cell phone was reported stolen.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 500 block W. Annandale Rd. On Nov. 25, an unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole the victim’s purse.

Larceny from Building, 935 W. Broad St. (Taco Bell) On Nov. 25, a backpack was reported stolen.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 On Nov. 25, a male, 32, of Springfield, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #15 On Nov. 25, a male, 44, of Falls Church, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #1E On Nov. 25, a male, 45, of Woodbridge, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Narcotics Violation, 500 Lynn Pl. (Robinson Park) On Nov. 25, a male, 20, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Driving Under the Influence, 300 block N. Washington St. On Nov. 26, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 37, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Armed Robbery, 100 Hillwood Ave. (Hillwood Mart) On Nov. 26, a gun was displayed by two Black males and took items.

Stolen Vehicle, 200 block Gibson St. On Nov. 28, police received a report of a stolen vehicle.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Le Mirage Restaurant) On Nov. 28, a male, 35, of Silver Spring, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
