Rotary Club of McLean Celebrates 50th Anniversary

The Rotary Club of McLean celebrated its 50th anniversary on Tuesday, Nov. 10, with a catered reception at the McLean Community Center that was attended by past and present members of the Rotary Club, representatives of neighboring clubs, representatives from Rotary District 7610 and Drainsville district supervisor John Foust.

Many local organizations have received support for many years from McLean Rotary including the Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center, the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia, Share, Capital Hospice, Langley Residential Support Services, the Safe Community Coalition, the Lifelong Love of Learning program at Timber Lane Elementary School, the McLean Project for the Arts, Alternative House, Chesterbrook Residences and Homestretch.

The Rotary Club of McLean has a weekly luncheon, which the public is invited to come to, every Tuesday at noon in the Fellowship Hall of he Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, lcoated at 1545 Chain Bridge Road, McLean. For more information, visit mcleanrotary.org.
