Crime Report: Counterfeit Bills & Frozen Yogurt

Somebody tried to buy frozen yogurt with a counterfeit bill at Zinga, another car was broken into and robbed and a school-issued laptop was stolen from George Mason High School, according to the latest Falls Church crime report.


City of Falls Church Crime Report: November 16 – 22, 2015

Larceny from Vehicle, 500 block Anne St. On Nov. 17, personal items were stolen from the victim’s vehicle.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 600 block Jackson St. On Nov. 17, a vehicle was reported vandalized sometime overnight.

Larceny from Building, 362 W. Broad St. (NVA Nails) On Nov. 17, an unattended wallet was reported stolen.

Larceny from Building, 500 Roosevelt Blvd. On Nov. 17, police received a report of bag stolen from a storage room sometime after Oct. 14.

Counterfeit, 1106-A W. Broad St. (Zinga Frozen Yogurt) On Nov. 19, police received a report that an unknown person uttered a counterfeit bill to the store.

Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On Nov. 20, a school-issued student laptop was reported stolen sometime on Nov. 18.

Driving Under the Influence, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Nov. 21, a male, 26, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Building, 1150 W. Broad St. On Nov. 21, an unattended purse was reported stolen.

Trespass, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Nov. 21, a male, 58, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Disorderly Conduct, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Nov. 22, a male, 46, of Alexandria, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
