City of Falls Church Treasurer Jody Acosta issued a statement Wednesday reminding residents that all cars, trucks, and motorcycles normally garaged within the City must be registered and clearly display a 2016 blue City decal as of Monday, Nov. 16. She noted that the City’s parking enforcement officer will ticket cars without decals properly posted on front windshields. She invited citizens to the Treasurer’s office at City Hall if still in need of the blue, 2016 decal. There is no fee for replacement decals.

In addition, she added, real estate tax bills were mailed to property owners last week and are due Saturday, December 5.
