AT&T donated $15,000 to Fairfax County through its Aspire Initiative on Friday, Nov. 13 to enhance the technology programs offered at Fairfax County’s six Computer Clubhouses, including upgrading 3D design and printing technology and introducing virtual reality technology.
With these new resources, local youth will gain valuable experience with emerging technologies as well as have the opportunity to design and create assistive living devices to benefit military veterans in need.
Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon Bulova, Fairfax County students, military veterans and representatives from AT&T were on hand for the check presentation, which was held at James Lee Community Center in Falls Church.
