F.C. Residents Earn Academic Honors Across the Nation

Several Falls Church residents earned academic honors from colleges, universities and other academic institutions across the nation recently.

John Carr, a sophomore finance major at James Madison University, made the dean’s list at the school for the spring 2015 semester. Michael Evans, a junior engineering major, is competing on the school’s baseball team. Jordan Crockett was named to the Spring 2015 honor’s list at Mary Baldwin College, where students must earn at least a 3.75 grade point average to make the list.

Deborah Hamilin was named a 2015 SUNY-Oneonta Alumni of Distinction. Elizabeth Huycke received her white coat at the White Coat Ceremony at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Allison Schulman graduated from Miami University during the 2015 summer term. Kristina Skotte made the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester at Azusa Pacific University, where students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average to be named to the list.
