Congressional Schools Host Ribbon Cutting for Sport Court

The Congressional Schools of Virginia will be hosting a ribbon cutting for the school’s new sport court on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 12:30 p.m. at the school. The ribbon cutting for the sport court, the school’s first major construction project on campus since the mid-90s, will be a part of the school’s annual Fall Festival, which will be held from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Sport Court is a multipurpose athletic court with four basketball hoops, a tennis court and space for four square and hopscotch and serves the school’s entire community, both students and campers. At the Fall Festival, there will be an amazing race and a petting zoo, moon bounce, karaoke machine and food trucks.

Advance tickets for the Fall Festival cost $10. For more information, visit congressionalschools.org.
