F.C. Rotary Club Participates in Fall Community Clean Up

The Falls Church Rotary Club recently teamed up with Girl Scout Troop 1251 during the City of Falls Church’s Fall Community Clean Up. Several volunteers from the Rotary Club, including John C. Lu II, Greg Viola, Joe Scheibeler and Diane Hill, participated in the clean up project.

The Falls Church Rotary Club also recently hosted former Rotary International Katherine Mackey, who spoke about her experience as a Rotary scholar in Mexico, Spain and Switzerland. Mackey, who spoke at the Rotary Club on October 8, is currently a Financial Planner with Integrated Financial Partners in Fairfax and is the Founder of Virginia Network, a Veterans advocate and Board Member of General Electric’s Veterans Network.

At the Rotary Club’s most recent weekly meeting on Thursday, Oct. 15, Lynne Rowson, Outreach Specialist with Fairfax County Government, spoke about domestic violence. Falls Church Rotary Club’s weekly meetings, which cost $15 and are held at Harvest Moon Restaurant most Thursdays, are open to the public. For more information, visit FallsChurchRotary.org.
