George Mason HS Hosts Google Educational Summit

George Mason High School will play host again this year to the Second Annual EdTechTeam Northern Virginia Summit on November 7 & 8. The event will be focused on deploying, integrating and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education.

Sessions at the summit will include two keynote presentations, a demo slam competition and a closing capstone session.

There will also be two full days of informative breakouts, cutting-edge demonstrations and hands-on workshops led by experienced and knowledgeable professional developers on topics like Development & Management of Google Apps, Google App Scripts, Google Apps for Education Certification, Google Maps and Earth Across the Curriculum, YouTube for Schools and Google Glass for Learning. Registration for the event costs $325 for individuals and there are discount rates for groups.
