Crime Report: More Locker Theft at 24 Hour Fitness

A week after two lockers at Falls Church’s 24 Hour Fitness were broken into – including one where car keys were taken and subsequently used to rob a car – another locker was broken into and another set of keys were taken which resulted in a purse stolen from a vehicle.

Other incidents in this week’s Falls Church crime report include a domestic assault on S. Maple, an assault at Le Mirage in Eden Center and a purse was taken after a car’s window was smashed on Van Buren St.

City of Falls Church Crime Report: September 21 0 27, 2015

Larceny from Building, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Sep. 21, police received a report that an unknown suspect stole keys from a locker and then stole the victim’s purse from the vehicle.

Public Drunkenness, 100 block E. Fairfax St. On Sep. 21, a male, 49, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunknness.

Driving Under the Influence, 400 block S. Washington St. On Sep. 22, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 30, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Vehicle, 500 block Van Buren St. On Sep. 23, an unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole the victim’s purse.

Narcotics Violation, Unit block Hillwood Ave. On Sep. 24, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 36, of North Hollywood, CA, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block W. Cameron Rd. On Sep. 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 22, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Assault, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Le Mirage) On Sep. 26, police received a report of an assault that occurred on Sep. 25. After an investigation, a male, 43, of Falls Church; and a male, 32, of Falls Church, were arrested for Simple Assault and Battery.

Domestic Assault, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Sep. 27, a male, 38, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.
