Benton’s ‘Extraordinary Hearts’ Rises To #3 of Amazon ‘Gay Studies’ Books

Nicholas Benton’s book, Extraordinary Hearts: Reclaiming Gay Sensibility’s Central Role in the Progress of Civilization, has climbed today to the #3 best seller on Amazon’s list of ‘Gay Studies’ kindle edition books. Benton is the owner-editor of the Falls Church News-Press.

His book is composed of 100 weekly columns he published in the Washington, D.C. based Metro Weekly between 2010 and 2012. The book was given a boost by a rousing endorsement from LGBT activist legend Larry Kramer, who called it “A vital moral book about who we are and who we should be. I admire it and its author enormously.”
