“It’s wonderful that NOVA is celebrating 15 years of the Schlesinger Center, and I’m honored that they invited me to have an exhibition of my paintings,” Ann Schlesinger said in a press release about the anniversary celebration. “For me, this is an opportunity to pay tribute to my parents, Rachel and Jim Schlesinger, both of whom were wonderful people, and who believed in and contributed immensely to the community of which they were a part.”

The special exhibit opened on Friday, Sept. 11 and be on display through Nov. 8 with a reception from 4 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27. The reception is free and open to the public, and those in attendance will have the opportunity to speak with Ann Schlesinger about her art work and how her parents influenced her art and impacted the community.
