Three cars were vandalized in the City of Falls Church last week, with two suspected of being scratched with keys on Laura Drive and Lincoln Avenue and another one had its window smashed on Hillwood.
Also in the latest crime report, there were three assault incidents including one on Annandale Road when a person struck an acquaintance after an argument and two domestic assaults– one on Lincoln Avenue and the other on S. Maple.
City of Falls Church Crime Report: August 17 – 23, 2015
Aggravated Assault, 200 block W. Annandale Rd. On Aug. 17, police received a report that an acquaintance of the victim struck the victim after an argument on Aug. 14.
Vandalism to Vehicle, 600 block Laura Dr. On Aug. 17, police received a report that an unknown suspect scratched key markings on a vehicle on Aug 8.
Driving Under the Influence, 100 block W. Broad St. On Aug. 20, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 33, of Sterling, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.
Larceny from Building, 100 block W. Jefferson St. On Aug. 20, police received a report of a wallet stolen from a business.
Vandalism to Vehicle, 800 block Lincoln Ave. On Aug. 20, police received a report that an unknown suspect scratched key markings on a vehicle overnight.
Domestic Assault, 800 block Lincoln Ave. On Aug. 20, a male, 27, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.
Larceny from Vehicle. 100 block W. Cameron Ave. On Aug. 21, an unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole several electronic devices sometime overnight.
Vandalism to Vehicle, 100 block Hillwood Ave. On Aug. 21, police received a report that a car window was smashed.
Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Leslys Restaurant) On Aug. 23, a male, 30, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Domestic Assault, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Aug. 23, a female, 29, of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.
