F.C. Students Earn Academic Honors Across the Nation

Several students from Falls Church earned academic honors from colleges, universities and other academic institutions across the nation during the spring 2015 semester.

Elizabeth Crowther has been named to first honors on the dean’s list at Clark University, where students must earn a grade point average of 3.8 or higher to be named to first honors. Anna Grishaw was named to the dean’s list at The University of the South, where students must earn at least a 3.625 grade point average to make the list. Aleena Ijaz was named to the dean’s list at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia.

Eric Brooks graduated from the Yale School of Medicine, where he earned an Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master of Health Science degree. He plans to specialize in radiation oncology and is currently a first-year resident at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

His specialty training will begin in summer 2016 with a 4-year residency at The University of Texas’ MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Christine Greve graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in communication studies.
