McLean High School Booster Looks to Fill Board Positions

The McLean High School Athletic Boosters are looking for volunteers to act as treasurer or membership chair for the 2015-2016 school year, and president-elect or vice president-elect who would serve as president and vice president for the 2016-2017 school year.

The McLean High School Athletic Boosters provide volunteer and financial support for the high school’s athletic programs, student athletes, and coaches.

The treasurer is expected to distribute monthly treasurer’s reports, invest excess cash balances, engage an accountant to file taxes and furnish statements of financial condition for the Board of Directors among other financial tasks.

The membership chair maintains and updates the membership form, collects membership dues, advertises, sells, orders and distributes membership passes, and gives a membership report at the monthly booster meeting.

The president provides leadership and general supervision to the Boosters, presides over their meetings, and helps to define annual goals and budgets, among other duties.

The vice president assists the president and acts in the president’s place when the president is not available. Additionally, the vice president attends parent-teacher-student association meetings representing the group.

If interested in any of the above positions, contact Jeff Grammes, McLean High School Booster president, at 571-218-0693 or mcleanhsboosters@gmail.com.
