Creative Cauldron Summer Cabaret Series Starts This Weekend

The Summer Cabaret Series at Creative Cauldron, located at 410 S. Maple Ave., Falls Church, kicks off this weekend with a pair of performances from Three for a Song. Three for a Song’s show, “Breaking Bad: Sinful Songs from the 20s and 30s,” is described as “equal parts double-entendre, sexy, sophisticated and downright naughty” in an e-mail Creative Cauldron sent out about the cabaret series. The shows are this Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11.

Next Friday and Saturday, Rachel Zampelli is gearing up to take the audience on a musical journey of insanity, desperation, redemption and hope in her cabaret “ANONYMOUS,” with tunes ranging from Amy Winehouse to Stephen Sondheim. And musical actress Bayla Whitten rounds out Creative Cauldron’s July cabarets with “Bayla Sings Barbara: No Pressure!” in which she sings the music of Barbara Streisand on Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25.

Creative Cauldron’s Summer Cabaret Series runs through September 26 and tickets are $18 – $20 with $100 tables for four with a bottle of wine and $50 for a table for two with two glasses of wine. For more information or to buy tickets, visit creativecauldron.org.
