A “Topping Out” party, an event held at new large-scale construction sites when the point has been reached to complete the roofing, has been announced for the “301 W. Broad” building that will be home to a new Harris Teeter, hosted by developers Rushmark Properties and HITT Construction. The building’s residential and retail components are expected to be occupied in about a year.
The party will be held Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at the construction site on W. Broad.
