Not only will long-time Mason District Supervisor Penny Gross face a Democratic primary challenge in June, but another candidate has announced her intent to run as an independent to face Gross in the November general election. While Gross will be challenged by Jessica Swanson in the June primary, community activist Mollie Loeffler, a former chair of the Mason District Council of Community Associations, has declared her plans to run as an independent in November.
