Falls Church’s Mad Fox Brewing Company has been named a finalist for Beer Program of the Year by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington for the group’s annual “Rammy” awards to be held later this June. This is the third Rammy nomination for the Falls Church restaurant which was also up for best beer program in 2014 and Hottest Restaurant Bar Scene in 2012.

While Mad Fox is technically the only City restaurant nominated this year, several other finalists have ties to the Falls Church area including Red Apron, with a store in Mosaic District, earning a Favorite Fast Bites nomination for its Union Market location and its manager, Rachel Bronson, is up for Manager of the Year. Another Merrifield restaurant, Ted’s Bulletin, had its Capitol Hill spot nominated for Everyday Casual Restaurant of the Year and Arlington’s Liberty Tavern, whose owners are exploring an eatery right here in The Little City, is a finalist for Everyday Casual Brunch. And finally, chef Victor Albisu of Falls Church’s Taco Bamba is in the running for Chef of the Year for his work at his D.C. restaurant, Del Campo.

Winners of the 2015 Rammy awards will be announced June 7 at a black tie gala.
