Local author Alan Rems will be signing and selling copies of his new book South Pacific Cauldron: World War II’s Great Forgotten Battlegrounds at Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library, located at 7584 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church next Thursday, March 5, at 7 p.m. Rems’ book is a narrative history of the land, sea and air operations in the oceanic theater of World War II.
