Two members of the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority’s took home the top awards given to individuals at the 2014 Virginia Recreation and Park Society Conference in early December.
Brian Knapp, the current chairman of the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, won the Distinguished Volunteer Service Award. Blythe Russian, who serves as operations superintendent for the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, won the Distinguished Service Award.
