F.C. Resident Starts Web Site to Help Students Develop Writing, Editing Skills

James Benton, a Falls Church resident and doctoral student in history at Georgetown University, has opened Essaycrafting.com to help students develop writing and editing skills while writing their college and graduate school essays. The new business works with students to develop “Ordinary words. Extraordinary results.” Benton spent 11 years in journalism and several years in the nonprofit sector. He holds a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from UNC Chapel Hill and Masters’ degrees in liberal studies and history from Georgetown University.
