The City of Falls Church’s FY2015 first quarter financial report for its general fund, covering the period of July-September 2014, came in with numbers below projections in key areas, including personal property taxes, meals taxes and sales taxes, the City’s Chief Financial Officer Richard LaCondre reported this week. He also said that at the current rate, real estate assessments are trending toward a two-to-three percent rise over last year, although that will await the formal assessments in February 2015.
