Buschow Gets ‘Spirit of F.C.’ Award

Barry Buschow was presented with the Spirit of Falls Church Award at Sunday’s semiannual meeting of the Village Preservation and Improvement Society. It has only been presented to six other people over 40 years. “The Bear” has been a dedicated volunteer in the city since moving to F.C. in 1987. “He says he doesn’t have a hobby, but I think it’s helping people, pure and simple. And what could be a better hobby? He so deserves this recognition,” commented his spouse, Kathy Clarken Buschow, on social media.
