The 2014 ShelterRide, a 5-mile bike ride hosted by Friends of the Falls Church Homeless Shelter, will be held this Sunday, Oct. 19. In addition to the bike ride, there will be live music, ice cream and prizes as Friends of the Falls Church Homeless Shelter seeks to raise money for the Falls Church Homeless Shelter.
Sponsors of the event include Bikenetic, Mike’s Deli at Lazy Sundae, Blue Nectar Yoga and Nourish Market. ShelterRide starts at 2 p.m. at the W & OD Trail at Grove Avenue, rain or shine.
Tickets for the event are $10 per person or $35 per family in advance and $12 per person or $40 per family on the day of the event. To buy tickets in advance, visit fallschurchshelterfriends.org.
