The Victorian Society at Falls Church is hosting a night of the ghost stories of legendary writer Ambrose Bierce at the Cherry Hill Farmhouse, located at 312 Park Ave., Falls Church, on Friday, Oct. 24, from 8 – 10 p.m. Reservations are recommended and admission to the event is $6.

On Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1 – 3 p.m., the Victorian Society is hosting its Witch’s Brew Tea event at the Cherry Hill Farmhouse. Victorian presenter Linda Lau will display select antique trinkets from her private collection and discuss Victorian-era Halloween celebrations and traditions.

Afterwards, guests are invited to retire to the Farmhouse’s dining room for sandwiches, assorted sweets, warm scones and a bottomless cup of tea. Admission is $35 for this event and reservations are required. For more information, visit cherryhillfallschurch.org.
