Mason Students Honored For Preliminary SAT Scores

George Mason seniors Felipe Borja, Kynadi Mauney and Katie Goodwin were honored last week for their performance on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Borja is among 5,000 students nationwide selected as a National Hispanic Scholar for scoring in the top three percent of more than 250,000 Hispanic students who took the 2013 Preliminary SAT.

Mauney and Goodwin are among 3,100 students named Outstanding Participants in the National Achievement Scholarship Program. They both scored in the top three percent of more than 160,000 Black American students who took the 2013 Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test.
